The family released Sound Sultan's album a year after his death.
Monday marked the first anniversary of the death of Nigerian musician Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan. To commemorate the event, his family will release the last album the singer worked on before his death.
The Reality CHQ album listening party took place in three cities on Sunday evening. The event took
place in New York, London and in the Victoria Island region of Lagos. In a video on Sultan's site, his brother Baba Dee, speaking from the New York Listening Party, noted that the album was a special project.

This is a very special project. “I promised myself that this project would come out and people could hear Sound Sultan's voice and it will come out on July 11th.Sound Sultan died of throat cancer on Sunday, July 11, 2021 in the United States and was buried there according to Islamic rites.
