Joke Silva's commitment to her husband despite his illness which has kept him from the public eye for the past two years. Kemi Filani recalls that a photo of Olu Jacobs that appeared online a few days ago caused concern among fans of the actor who had previously thought he was dead.

Yul Edochie, to name a few, highly celebrated him. Joke Silva took to Instagram to share a video of the birthday venue with a caption expressing his joy. She wrote: My heart leaps for joy. It's my birthday too.

Entertainment stars like Mr Macaroni, Obi Asika, Kaffy and other fans took to their social media page to praise her devotion to her husband. They showered her with love and praise.

Kemi Filani recalls that Joke Silva spoke openly about Olu Jacobs' health after he disappeared from the film scene for a few years. The actress revealed during an interview with Chude Jideonwo that her husband battles dementia, a degenerative disease that affects the brain. "He's dealing with problems and has been for a couple of years. It's known as dementia with Lewy bodies, it's a degenerative disease that affects the brain and it's almost like parkinson's disease, it affects the brain and it affects the person. First time I've said that publicly, that's what we're dealing with but the thing is it's hard for him because he doesn't understand what's going on and it's hard for us family members too. We've been through it for the last two years but we thank God We've been through some times and situations lately where I wish I had the old you here, so I will not be fighting these all alone, but we're grateful for the moment of clarity. I miss the times when we work together!
