Raheem Sterling in London ahead of Chelsea medical after Man City's £45m transfer was agreed.

Raheem Sterling was spotted in London ahead of his medical in Chelsea. The Blues and Manchester City have agreed a fee of £45m (plus £10m in fringe benefits) for the 27-year-old, who will be Todd Boehly's first signing at the club.

Sterling will become a Chelsea player in the coming days but he will have to complete a medical to officially sign for Chelsea. The England international is expected to receive medical treatment in London before traveling to the United States to join his new Chelsea team-mates.

Now, Sterling has been spotted on Instagram in the capital with his hairstylist @hd_cutz_london showing off his new haircut. With Sterling's hair, he should theoretically be ready to complete his big move to Chelsea.
Thomas Tuchel hopes the addition of Sterling will help improve his underperforming frontline. Last season's players like Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner disappointed in the third attack.

Former Blues defender William Gallas believes Sterling is making the right move and will be positive for both sides. Gallas told football.london in an interview conducted by Genting Casino: "So it will be great for him to join Chelsea. It will also be great for Chelsea because we know the quality of Sterling. "Very difficult to defend him. He's the type of striker or winger who likes to have the ball behind defenders. And as a former defender, we don't like [those passes from behind] because Sterling is so quick. So I think he can be a good signing if he can help Chelsea and at the same time I think Chelsea didn't really have that player in that position that made the difference last season."
